The Script - Metro Theatre, Monday, 24th September 2012

The Script, one of my favourite bands of all time performed at an intimate gig at The Metro on Monday, 24th September.  I am not proud to admit that in between these images I was screaming like a teenage Bieber fan :-(.  It's the second time I've seen The Script live and they were just as brilliant as they were when they first burst into the scene as three young fresh faced Irish boys.  The Script sure know how to keep their fans happy.  No egos.  Just full of appreciation for their fans and counting their blessings.  How could three good looking and talented guys be so sweet and nice??

This first image is my favourite.  Being vertically challenged, I held the camera high above my head and snapped this image.  I love surprises. Sometimes you don't know what you've snapped until the images are downloaded and this one was a pleasant surprise.  It looks as though Danny's just about to be hauled back to Neverland.

Doppelganger Dames - Live Burlessque Event - Miss Kelly Ann Doll

On Sunday, 9th September, I was invited by the effervescent and talented Miss Kelly Ann Doll (www.kellyanndoll.com.au) to photograph her at her sound check at the Sydney Fringe Festival show, Doppelganger Dames.

Miss Kelly Ann Doll, you are an amazing dancer, firing up the stage like no other.  Always a joy to watch you.

Biennale 2012 - Cockatoo Island

Went to check out Biennale 2012 at one of my favourite places in Sydney - Cockatoo Island.  There was no shortage of performance art and contemporary visual arts.  Some were truly wonderful while others made me scratch my head.  But here are some of the works.  You be the judge.

This is a "selfie" aboard the ferry looping service between Circular Quay and Cockatoo Island.  Very impressed with this complimentary service.  It was a most beautiful spring day in Sydney that Saturday (8th September).

I'm looking forward to the next Biennale...
